For New Orleans schools, parishes, churches and ministries
Families arrive at this site with an award and a list of questions you can answer in one paragraph: what you charge, which fees go through Odyssey, whether you take STO scholarships, and whether you have a seat.

20 approved schools here have 600 or more students and most are full. Families need to know who has room. Post tuition, aid, STO participation and open grades; we send you families who already hold an award.
Open a small school
36 of the 124 approved schools report fewer than 150 K-12 students. A church with classrooms can start a K-7 school on the New Orleans pattern, or a marketplace learning program for home-based families, and grow with the awards.
Accredited online core
An online classical Christian curriculum can carry the academics while a church supplies the community. How it works →

Getting a new school approved
- Decide the model: full-time, hybrid, or marketplace provider.
- Apply to BESE for nonpublic approval through LDOE (annual) and meet Brumfield v. Dodd.
- Register in Odyssey and accept the attestations on approved uses, safety, testing and financial transparency.
- Not ready for approval? Register as a service provider and sell courses or tutoring through the marketplace.
- Price against the $5,243 and $7,626 awards so families see the balance at a glance.
No listing fee during the dev phase. Partner relationships are labeled on every page.
